We didn’t read our itinerary close enough and we should have left Prague earlier than we did. We had a few glitches that we didn’t plan for, but nothing major. We ended up not having enough time to go to Dachau today, but will try to go on Sunday on our way to the next stop. We wanted to send some postcards from Czech, but the “Post” was closed today due to a holiday. So, we will send our Prague postcards from Germany.
We had to go get the car from the hotel garage today. Check out the beauty of the garage entrance where we parked.
We noticed today on the way out of Prague that the Czech Republic is more built up than Romania. We are not sure why, but from roads to infrastructure, it appears more modern and has more investment. We also remarked that we were in the capital of Czech, and we have not been to Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
We stopped for Starbucks on the way out of Prague…the shopping center was like one you would find in the states.
Upon arrival in Munich, we checked into our hotel and parked the car again. Public transportation is the way to go here in this busy city.
We got some help on where to get our tickets and how to travel and so we traveled in to the city center to have dinner tonight at the Hofbrauhaus.
Sorry Gerlad, we couldn’t force or bribe Jack to try the sauerkraut.
At this place, you can have a storage place for your own beer stein. Probably like highly desired football seats, you have to be grandfathered into these places.
Real German music:
This place was founded as a pub over 400 years ago…

ReplyDeleteSo, who's half gallon of beer is nearly empty on the table?
ReplyDeleteJoe, that was Kim's lemonade/beer and you could only buy the larger one after 5pm. It was good.
